Ridgeway were delighted to be involved in a recent Combisafe project at a high profile building in the riverside development area in Belfast.
We enjoyed some great views of the Belfast waterfront in combisafe safety, including Titanic Belfast, The SSE Arena, Belfast and Belfast Harbour Marina on this site visit.

The Combisafe edge protection has been supplied by hire contract from Ridgeway and allows people to work on the building at height with no risk in what would previously have been a dangerous job.

Over a year ago, the technical drawings were sent by contractors to Ridgeway who worked with the manufacturer to place where brackets could be fitted to the structure that would hold the barriers in place. On site, the barriers were fixed to the structural steelwork which was then lifted into place with the safety barriers already securely attached.

The next stage of the build will see flooring installed, then the glass curtain wall will be fitted on front of the building before Ridgeway’s Combisafe barriers are removed safely from the inside with no risk of working at height.

Over 2,000 linear metres of edge protection were used in this project and supplied by Ridgeway. Click here to view our access and edge protection products on Ridgewaysiteproducts.com.
