All Energy 2012 - A Glowing Success
For the past 12 years the All Energy Conference & Exhibition has been attracting a diverse number of companies heavily involved in the renewable energy sector including wind, tidal, biomass and carbon reducing technologies. Ridgeway Renewables has been a regular visitor to the event but this year through Invest NI we were given the opportunity to display our detailed model and presentation highlighting our company capabilities as a supplier to the renewable energy sector.
The Northern Ireland capabilities stand promoted the services available in Northern Ireland to the European renewables market putting our country on the map as a serious supplier to the sector. Using our scaled model Ridgeway demonstrated the applications of the Kyowa filter unit for Sub Sea scour and cable protection for offshore wind. Furthermore, using our experience of mobile access systems we also highlighted the application of Instant mobile towers for access solutions to wind turbine components.
As we are continuously adding to our renewable products range, we highlighted to the industry that we are now a supplier of the Limpet system. The Limpet system provides an enhanced safety and efficient solution to turbine tower and nacelle access.
Overall, the NI capability stand was a success, its open plan design allowed visitors to stroll through and view all areas helping to promote the companies involved in the renewable sector in Northern Ireland.
As a first time exhibitor at the show the response to the Ridgeway Renewables section of the stand was significantly positive with high level interest from offshore developers, marine contractors and cable installers all intrigued by our model turbine detailing the application of the Kyowa filter unit.
The new innovative product gained a high level of recognition not only from the offshore wind sector but also from the oil & gas sector for protecting and securing pipelines.

The picture above shows Ridgeway's premises on Airport Road West, in Belfast dock's area, directly across from the site where renewables giant Dong plan to open their first UK Renewables Hub.
Ridgeway Renewables will be visiting the Renewables UK Conference Exhibition at the London ExCel centre to continue building relationships with new and existing clients.
